Product Description:
CA125 is a high-molecular-weight glycoprotein that is used as a tumor marker, particularly for ovarian cancer. It is expressed in the coelomic epithelium during embryonic development and is not expressed in normal ovarian tissue. CA125 is often elevated in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, especially in non-mucinous tumors, and can be detected in the serum.
