cTnI and cTnT are specific to cardiac muscle and are used clinically to investigate possible myocardial injury or infarction. They are released from the myocardium into the bloodstream in response to myocardial damage, making them valuable biomarkers for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and for risk stratification in patients with ischemic heart disease.

The monoclonal antibody has a calculated MW of 160 kDa.
