Heparin-binding protein (HBP), also known as azurocidin or cationic antimicrobial protein of 37 kDa, is a key player in the pathophysiology of organ dysfunction in sepsis. It is a cationic antibacterial protein derived from multinuclear neutrophils and serves as an important biomarker of infectious diseases.

The monoclonal antibody has a calculated MW of 160 kDa.
