The Ki-67 labeling index has become a standard in the diagnosis and prognosis assessment of cancer patients. It is used to differentiate between benign and malignant conditions and is increasingly used to grade various tumors, such as neuroendocrine tumors, pituitary tumors, schwannomas, meningiomas, sarcomas, etc., or dysplasias like cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and anal intraepithelial neoplasia. Ki-67 is also used to determine the prognosis of breast cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and chordoma.
Molecular Characterization:
The monoclonal antibody has a calculated MW of 160 kDa.
