Human NSE-mAb │ Mouse anti-Human Neuron-Specific Enolase monoclonal antibody
Product Description:
Neuron-specific enolase (NSE) is a cell-specific isoenzyme of the glycolytic enzyme enolase, which is involved in the sugar metabolism pathway. It is present in neurons and neuroendocrine tissues and is not physiologically secreted but can be released under pathological conditions such as neuronal injury, leading to its detection in peripheral circulation due to blood-brain barrier disruption. NSE is a highly specific marker for neurons and peripheral neuroendocrine cells.
